A joint Russian-U.S. space mission ended with an emergency landing as a booster on its Soyuz rocket failed soon after liftoff. Russian cosmonaut Aleksei Ovchinin and U.S. astronaut Nick Hague were on their way to the International Space Station on October 11 but video of the launch showed an apparent malfunction 119 seconds into the flight.
