President Donald Trump turned his fire on Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan on Monday morning.
He quoted a segment from “Fox & Friends” in which pundit Dan Bongino blamed Brennan for the politically damaging Trump-Russia scandal.
Brennan, who ran the CIA from 2003 to January 2017, is an outspoken critic of Trump.
President Donald Trump launched a social media attack on John Brennan, the former director of the CIA, effectively claiming that the politically damaging Trump-Russia scandal is all his fault.
Trump’s Monday morning attack came in the form of a long quote from a segment on “Fox and Friends” earlier that morning, in which pro-Trump pundit Dan Bongino launched an attack on Brennan, who ran the CIA under Obama.
He highlighted a section where Bongino said Brennan “started this entire debacle about President Trump,” and in the process “disgraced himself,” ruined public faith in the intelligence services, and brought shame on the US.
